STEPHANY TEJEDA

Stephany has been studying dance with Deborah Lysholm since the age of four in addition to her recent studies with Ricci Milan.  She has been a featured performer in numerous Heartbeat Studios dance concerts and is a graduate of Heartbeat’s Academy Program where she majored in tap.  In 2006 she was given the Academy Program’s Best Dancer of the Year award.  Stephany has studied with tap luminaries such as Savion Glover, Dianne Walker, Sam Weber, Yukiko Misumi, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and Jason Samuels-Smith.  She was a featured dancer in two sold-out performances at the Rising Dragon Jazz Club in Tokyo (2006) and a member of the Japanese/American tap quartet, East Meets West.  She was a featured dancer in Heartbeat Studios’, Tapestry of Dance, concert on tour in London, England at Leeds Castle and Sadlers Wells, July 2007.
