STEVE DURAND

Steve Durand (“B-Boy Showtime”) has been dancing for ten years and teaching several styles of hip hop during that time.  Originally a popper and locker, Steve has since delved into all aspects of the dance world including break dancing, ticking, stepping, crumping, gliding and floating as well as a little jazz, lyrical, modern and tap just to keep it interesting.  Steve is on staff at Heartbeat Studios as a break dance instructor and as co-choreographer/instructor for the MN Timberwolves’ Beat Squad Youth Dance Company.  He has numerous performance credits around the Twin Cities and across the nation most recently in Orlando, FL.  Steve’s teaching style conveys his love of dancing and he instills love for dancing in all of his students.  Steve is a proud member of the Sub City Rockers break dance crew.
