Spencer Sanders

Spencer began is journey in tap dance at the age of three when he insisted on sleeping with his tap shoes on. It seems his insistence was successful because he has become a rhythmic virtuoso. Spencer has studied with the likes of Savion Glover, Dianne Walker, Jason Samuels-Smith, Max Pollak, and many other master teachers from the U.S. and Europe. He studies regularly with Heartbeat tap instructors, Deborah Lysholm, Dario Mejia and Stephany Tejeda. In addition to his tap background, Spencer was a proud member of the MN Timberwolves' Beat Squad Youth Dance Company, a dynamic crew of young hip hop and break dancers who have become a fan favorite. Spencer is a member of Heartbeat's Teen/Adult Tap Dance Company and teaches the Boys' Tap Dance class.
